Those French 'student' riots of late? 10,000 books dating back to the Middle Ages have just been burned to ashes as a result of the rioting.

Sorry for a third posting whose title is a quote, but I felt it necessary. The Harvard Crimson gives a backgrounder to the riots and this article explains why student protests result in the nighttime fire bombing that the first link rightly blames on Muslims.

(it turns out the riots can be blamed on the "progressive" legislation to bring about a 35 hour workweek)
