The CBC is vital in many communities. This huge country is not just the big cities.

I know conservatism has probably done a number on your critical thinking skills; but Fox News is a rage farming propaganda network that's admitted as much over and over in court.

This huge country is not just the dangerous far-left extremists who support a biased government-run propoganda network who has been more guilty of your "rage farming" than slightly-right-of-centre Fox News ever will be.

After all, doesn't "representation matter"? Isn't that a key aspect of you guys' thinking? If so, then don't you agree that Canadian conservatives who have an eye on important issues coming from the dominant cultural force (and our largest trading partner) deserve to have their voices represented on cable channels? After all, you'd welp and whine if we said that the CRTC should ban APTN from cable packages: and they are acknowledged perpetrators of racism!

(Besides, as has been noted before, if Fox News' court filings can be used against them, what about CBC who has been convicted of not being a real news channel?)
