@muddybike - Pay your bills

It's above zero almost every day in Edmonton this week, so you might be thinking about outdoor activities. Chances are, though, you still want to do indoor activities and drive there in your vehicle so you don't have to deal with the worth-exactly-zero-human-filth that you'll find in public transit.

Then you get the pathetic bike activists like Bobby McPherson, who demands it be made even more expensive and annoying to try and navigate in the vehicle you bought in order to improve your life. In this particular case he freaked out over a local political candidate even suggesting that bike lanes shouldn't be the priority.

That this freeloading moron isn't taxed at 99% of his income should be to the shame of all the people of the world. Those of us who drive pay fuel taxes, licensing fees, and all sorts of infrastructure to both pay for the public roadways which depend on us (unlike vice versa for you) are then forced to pay for unused bike lanes (and their insane maintenance) by lazy and unaccountable folks (who typically are the people public policy should favour the least) like you.

We can do better. We can start forcing bicycles on public roadways to be licensed and registered to owners, with harsh enforcement and heavy penalties for noncompliance with traffic rules.

You disgusting people did it to us, now live under your own regime.
