So far 1,500 people have been confirmed infected with swine flu. Relevent highlights:
- "officials are expecting about 1,500 ... which is at the low end of their projections."
- "snowball that turned into an avalanche ... faced with a national crisis"
- The disease could hit "roughly 50,000", "double [in infection] in strength", and expand "one [friend or relative] at a time"
I think this is the time for urgent action to end the problem: the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre must be hit with that fuel-air bomb from Outbreak. Its for our own safety.
