Circumstances 45% out of my control have meant that I now have plans for Thursday afternoon and evening. I probably won't even get to watch Game 5 of the World Series, let alone liveblog it as I hoped.
Will you see WS-liveblogging on this site? It depends on a couple of factors.
If the series goes to Game 7, I can live weblog on Sunday (I can't Saturday).
Tomorrow's St. Louis weather forecast might provide an option as well: if Game 4 tomorrow is rained out, as there's a 40% chance of rain, Game 5 would be moved to Friday, and I could certainly liveblog it that day as well. Then also Game 7 on Sunday (or even Monday). It still could be possible. I shall keep you posted.
Right now it doesn't look good for Detroit Rock City though: 2-0 redbirds after the top of the sixth inning, and Carpenter has only allowed 2 hits over than span.
Update, 9:27pm: Down 4-0 in the bottom of the eighth, Pujols up to the plate with bases loaded and a 1-2 count, Pudge Rodriguez seems to be injured. That is not good.
Also, I notice that the blogger search for the WS sorta shows my page. I should mention that Game 7 (and possibly 5) of the 2003 World Series between the Detroit Tigers and the St. Louis Cardinals will (I hope) be live weblogged on this site.
Update, 9:30pm: Taguchi just made it home on a wild pitch: runners on 2nd and 3rd, 1 out, and a 5-0 lead with a 2-2 count. Then Pujols is walked, and bases loaded again with only one out. Shit.
