How did Liberal Party oil get under all this Albertan sand?

The Alberta Liberals, helplessly stagnate in the polls and seeing their vote actually jump ship for the PCs to try and keep a Wildrose majority government at bay, have never been mistaken for a bright bunch.

Supporters of both the provincial and federal parties never seem to figure out the "root cause" their poor showing in elections in Alberta.

The belief of their candidates that "if you oppose tax increases, you must be one of the 1%!" won't help.
