Out of curiosity, a computer repair question

If you:

a) give a guy from work your computer to fix it with a difficult problem clearly explained
b) give him $50 after he returns it to you fixed
c) have to wait almost four weeks in between (a) and (b)
d) discover within 3 minutes that it is, in fact, not fixed

What would be the proper response?
