Hopefully Justin's last ever throne speech

Prime Minister Shiny Pony has made some promises he can't keep, and other promises that he shouldn't keep but will.
The throne speech is also expected to make mention of plans to make government more open and transparent, including granting greater access to information and data.

Another element of the speech could focus on the government's plan to repair relations with indigenous people, including details of a promised public inquiry into missing and murdered indigenous women and girls
The #MMIW inquiry is, as you should know by now, a completely stupid waste of time. But notice the first part of his plan. More open government, more access to information, more data at your fingertips. So how about continuing the hugely successful Harper policy that requires all Indian Reserves which collect tax money (ie. all Indian Reserves) to submit their financials to the government who then posts it online? No, Shiny Pony hates that law, because it lays bear the truth about how badly run these Indian Reserves are and how many white Canadians are taxed for them. Lying NDP coward Charlie Angus similarly doesn't want you to see how badly the Red Indian manages the money you give them.
Angus said First Nations people don't want more talk, they want real action. He said the Liberal promises to address problems plaguing aboriginal communities require investments in education, water and infrastructure.

But how is Rat Bastard 2.0 going to pay for all this cool stuff? Isn't he also going to bring in "tax cuts for middle-class Canadians"? Well...no. He might at first, but since he's a liberal he's also a liar. What you're probably going to find instead is a tax freeze for 'lower' earners (notice that the lower class will never get their taxes hiked, even thought they certainly aren't paying their fair share), and hikes of various degrees for higher earners. And again, that's only at first.

As time goes on, and higher earners either hide their taxable earnings or leave the country or just take more time off, and stop buying (from you) the things they usually buy. Which means that Trudeau won't have as much money coming in as he expected. As always happens, and as always liberals are too dumb to figure this out, after taxing the rich fails he instead comes after you.

The Throne Speech has several other key lines that are completely wrong for the country.
  • The Government has also committed to provide more direct help to those who need it by giving less to those who do not. The new Canada Child Benefit will do just that.
In the shadow of Trudeau's nannies, this announcement is just a slap in the face to taxpayers.
  • To make sure that every vote counts, the Government will undertake consultations on electoral reform, and will take action to ensure that 2015 will be the last federal election conducted under the first-past-the-post voting system.
Like Churchill said of democracy, First-Past-the-Post is the worst system...except for all the others.
  • To restore public trust and bring an end to partisanship, the Government will follow through on its commitment to reform the Senate by creating a new, non-partisan, merit-based process to advise the Prime Minister on Senate appointments.
What if we don't like who you're appointing to "speak for us"? Where do we go to vote them out?
  • Working together, the Government will continue to provide leadership as Canada works toward putting a price on carbon and reducing carbon pollution.
A tax. Another goddamned tax. A tax that, like the recent one implemented by Rachel Arab in Alberta, won't take a single plane out of the sky or a single truck off the road. All it will do is make the middle class pay more, the lower class be subsizied more, and less freedom and opportunity for every single Canadian.
  • Also notable are the things the Government will not do: it will not use government ads for partisan purposes; it will not interfere with the work of parliamentary officers; and it will not resort to devices like prorogation and omnibus bills to avoid scrutiny.
Again, Justin Trudeau is a goddamned liar.
  • And to give Canadians a stronger voice in the House of Commons, the Government will promote more open debate and free votes, and reform and strengthen committees.
Since Trudeau already used strict ideological enforcement to ensure that his caucus already only believed the same things he did (primarily being okay with murdering babies) this is a meaningless declaration. He already removed "free votes" in Parliament when the Liberal Party began its nomination process.
  • Because it is both the right thing to do and a certain path to economic growth, the Government will undertake to renew, nation-to-nation, the relationship between Canada and Indigenous peoples, one based on recognition of rights, respect, co-operation and partnership.
We are not "nation to nation". One nation is a real nation, with national borders, a national people, national interests, a national government, and a nation of citizens that are taxed. The other "nation" is just a bunch of tribes who by and large don't produce anything, don't build anything, don't pay tax money, and instead leech off the actual nation and then bitch that they aren't given enough free stuff.
  • The Government will support CBC/Radio-Canada, encourage and promote the use of Canada’s official languages, and invest in Canada’s cultural and creative industries.
Will these "cultural and creative industries" start publishing conservative viewpoints on the matter-of-the-day? We already know that Trudeau's beloved CBC loves playing censor when the general public doesn't have the opinion of the elites.
  • And to expand economic opportunities for all Canadians, the Government will negotiate beneficial trade agreements, and pursue other opportunities with emerging markets.
Harper already did that. Pretty much as much as realistically possible in this day and age. The only major agreement still awaiting ratification is the TPP, which Trudeau is upset and confused by (mostly because he's too stupid to understand it).
  • To that end, the Government will introduce legislation that will provide greater support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault; that will get handguns and assault weapons off our streets
Trudeau is coming for your guns, folks. Buy lots and lots of guns. Buy handguns, buy assault guns, buy as much ammunition as you can. Don't buy a firearms license, don't register your weapons, don't be afraid to go outside the law to buy automatic assault weapons that you may one day need to defend yourself against Trudeau and his government.
